Our Story
FMG Chartered Accountants was born out of a shared passion for professional excellence, integrity, and a vision to redefine business advisory services.
The journey began with Mr. Ferdous Elahi, FCA, who carried a long-cherished dream of establishing a premier accounting and consultancy practice. After mastering his craft through years of rigorous training and corporate leadership, he turned that dream into reality by founding Ferdous & Co., Chartered Accountants in 2025.
Driven by a collective ambition to scale greater heights, Mr. Mohammad Gias Uddin, ACA and Mr. Masum Gazi, ACA soon partnered with him. To reflect this strong, united alliance, the firm was rebranded as FMG Chartered Accountants – a name forged from the first initials of its three founding partners. Today, FMG stands as a dynamic, multi-disciplinary firm dedicated to driving sustainable growth and delivering tailored financial, tax, and strategic solutions for businesses.

Our leadership team brings together a powerful combination of top-tier professional accounting backgrounds, deep corporate execution experience, and regulatory expertise:
- Ferdous Elahi, FCA (Managing Partner): An alumnus of the University of Dhaka and trained at ACNABIN Chartered Accountants, Ferdous brings over eight years of core corporate leadership from the Abul Khair Group. His expertise bridges the gap between complex financial management and strategic sales, operations, and manufacturing optimization.
- Mohammad Gias Uddin, ACA (Partner): Trained at ACNABIN (Baker Tilly International), Gias is an accomplished academic and professional who previously served as the Deputy Director and Head of Financial Report Monitoring at ICAB. He specializes in statutory audits, financial reporting, business valuation, and FDI compliance.
- Mr. Masum Gazi, ACA (Partner): With over a decade of extensive professional experience, Masum heads the Taxation & Business Advisory Department. He provides comprehensive fiscal, VAT, customs, and corporate compliance strategies to both local and multinational entities across a diverse range of industries.
