Managing Partner

Ferdous Elahi, FCA is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He completed his BBA and MBA from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh’s premier business school, before pursuing his chartered accountancy training at ACNABIN Chartered Accountants, one of the country’s most renowned firms.

At ACNABIN, Ferdous gained extensive experience in Audit, Accounting, Tax, VAT, Payroll management, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and various consultancy services. He then joined Abul Khair Group, where he worked for eight years on key Finance, Accounts Sales and Operational roles. His expertise covered Sales model and strategy, Brand Development Strategy, Accounts, Tax, VAT, Manufacturing process optimization, Production yield improvement, Cost reduction programs, and Sales team support. Additionally, he regularly reported Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Mohammad Gias Uddin, ACA

Partner

Mohammad Gias Uddin is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) with over five years of progressive experience in audit, financial reporting and corporate finance. His career spans leading chartered accountancy firms, ICAB and multinational corporation, where he has demonstrated strong expertise in statutory audits, financial reporting, business valuation, foreign direct investment (FDI) compliance and other advisory services.

He previously served as Deputy Director and Head of Financial Report Monitoring and Practice Review at ICAB and has held key roles in top-tier CA firms as well as in the finance function of a multinational company. Mr. Uddin completed his articleship at ACNABIN Chartered Accountants, a member firm of Baker Tilly International in March 2019. He holds BBA and MBA with distinction from Comilla University. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he regularly conducts training sessions on audit and accounting at ICAB and has received advanced training from institutions including ICAB, ACNABIN, Bangladesh Bank and Sanofi.

Mr. Masum Gazi, ACA

Partner, Taxation and Business Advisory

Masum Gazi, ACA is a Partner at FMG Chartered Accountants and leads the firm’s Taxation and Business Advisory practice. He is a Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years of professional experience advising local and multinational businesses in Bangladesh on income tax, VAT, customs, payroll tax, transfer pricing, tax controversy, regulatory compliance, and business advisory matters.

Expertise

Mr. Gazi advises clients on corporate tax planning, withholding tax, VAT and customs advisory, payroll tax, transfer pricing, capital gains tax, tax audit, assessment proceedings, tax appeal, tribunal and Alternative Dispute Resolution matters, and tax and VAT dispute support.

His advisory practice also covers accounting services, business valuation, share and asset valuation, financial review, RJSC filings, company secretarial services, business restructuring, merger and amalgamation support, foreign investment structuring, BIDA related permissions, IRC and ERC matters, and expatriate work permit support.
